Wherever you are on your Ashtanga Mysore journey, find a space today, and take 5 minutes to set a fun intention for the New Year. 🌠

I chose to unroll my mat yesterday around midday and see where the decision took me. I spent my 5 minutes taking energised steps, arm raises and gentle turns. This will now be apart of my daily practice routine in 2026. It was perfect to balance out the cold air from the garden and helped motivate and inspire me to start my daily Ashtanga practice immediately after. ✨️

Working with this energy has many benefits, bringing joy to your daily practice and preparing the mind and body for stretching in winter weather. I look forward to each time I will be practicing in the frosty weather now and I hope you will too! ❄️

This short 5 minutes can help you learn how to set an intention and whatever the outcome, this small act will give you courage for and bring kindness into your new year ahead. Bring your tea, maybe put some music on, roll out your mat, have your journal nearby and enjoy! Namaste. 🙏🩵
